Beep, Beep! All Safe Kid agents need to report for training! Are you a Safe Kid agent? Join the West St. Paul Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Recreation Department for our exciting and always fun annual Safe Kids Camp.



Our Agents will receive training on fire safety, internet safety, Heart Start CPR, concussions, water safety, home alone awareness, severe weather, meet and greet with our very own police K-9 dog and so much more!



Lunch and snack will be provided each day. All participants will receive a Safety Camp T-shirt along with an award. All are asked to join our Agents for Safe Kids Graduation ceremony on August 23, 4:00pm - 4:30pm.

The City of West St. Paul and Dakota County are proposing the construction of a multi-use trail along the Oakdale Avenue (CR 73) from Wentworth Avenue (CR 8) to Mendota Road and a multi-use trail along Marie Avenue from Robert Street to Oakdale Avenue, in 2019.



The project will improve the pedestrian experience and provide connections to the neighborhoods, businesses, and recreational amenities.



An open house has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 20th in the Council Chamber at City Hall, located at 1616 Humboldt.

In the Fall of 2018, Dakota County will begin a project in partnership with the City of West St. Paul and the Lower Mississippi River Watershed Management Organization to remove pollutants from Thompson Lake. This project includes a lake cleanup and installation of a stormwater management system to ensure all future water is cleaned before it enters the lake.



The open house will feature information about the project and include fun activities for adults and children to learn how to keep the lake healthy.
